Cordyceps: Fireworks for Potency and Libido

Cordyceps: Fireworks for Potency and Libido

Some call it natural Viagra, others owe their record-breaking athletic achievements to it: one thing is certain – Cordyceps sinensis drives you to peak performance. This has been known for millennia by the Chinese, who have used it in traditional Chinese medicine. It is considered one of the strongest medicinal mushrooms ever.

It’s Powerful!

The Cordyceps mushroom works directly on the powerhouses (mitochondria) of cells and promotes their energy production in every single cell. In addition, the power mushroom improves the body’s oxygen supply, leading to increased energy levels. Cordyceps is also used to support antidepressants, as it contains a relatively high amount of L-tryptophan – the amino acid from which the happiness hormone serotonin is produced in the brain. As a potency and libido booster, Cordyceps has earned a special reputation: it is considered a very effective natural remedy for impotence and low libido – for both men and women. The emperors of ancient China took it to strengthen their sexual power before attending to their harems. Athletes increase their endurance and performance with Cordyceps. People with a weak immune system mobilize their defenses with Cordyceps, and those with autoimmune diseases suppress it with its help. At the same time, Cordyceps has a positive effect on high blood pressure and cholesterol problems, as well as arthritic pain.

Incredibly Precious

The rare mushroom is native to the moist mountain meadows of the Himalayas at altitudes of 3000 to 5000 meters and the mountain ranges of Tibet and China. In fact, Cordyceps sinensis is a caterpillar-shaped fungus. It needs a caterpillar to survive. As a parasitic fungal spore, it infects the caterpillar of a special moth living in the earth and consumes it from the inside over the course of the winter. What remains of the caterpillar is just a mummified shell, filled with the fungal threads of the Cordyceps mushroom inside. Today, up to 20,000 euros are paid for one kilogram of wild Cordyceps. To meet the increasing demand, a particularly effective mushroom was selected from 200 subspecies and cultivated as Cordyceps CS-4. Since 1987, Cordyceps CS-4 has been approved.
