The Immune System is to Blame
The immune system is, simply put, the defense system of an organism, which helps it fight off pathogens that have entered the body.
How Strong is My Immune System?
Blood provides clear information about your overall health. Through a vital blood analysis, it can be determined how your immune system is doing. If you suffer from frequent colds, fatigue, or a strong craving for sugar, a weak immune system may be to blame.
Immune Boost: Cupping is “IN”
One way to strengthen the immune system is through cupping. The goal of this basic therapeutic method is to increase the elimination of metabolic waste products, helping the body detoxify. This relieves the organism, allowing the metabolism to function optimally, which in turn strengthens the immune system. During dry cupping, a glass cup is placed on intact skin, and a vacuum is created to draw out toxins through the skin.
Immune System and Gut
The immune system depends on a healthy gut flora. No surprise, as around 80 percent of immune cells are located in the gut. The many microorganisms along the intestinal lining perform many specific tasks. Without the support of these microorganisms, the immune system cannot ensure the protection of the body. Medications (especially antibiotics) and sugar are harmful to the gut flora. Therefore, gut-friendly nutrition must be the focus. Foods should always be fresh, wholesome, and, if possible, organically grown. If you suffer from severe gut problems, consider a basic diet. Also, reduce meat consumption and avoid pork and processed meats as much as possible. Reduce sugar intake and avoid processed foods and fast food.
Immune Booster “Lemon”
The yellow fruit makes your body more alkaline, making it unattractive to bacteria and viruses. Drink lemon juice every day! Take the juice of a whole fruit and add it to a glass of water. You can also add it to tea, but make sure the tea isn’t too hot. Heat can destroy many of the valuable ingredients. Lemon juice contains valuable vitamins and enzymes and is a wonderful immune booster, especially during the summer.
