Kiwi Smoothie

Vitamin C Smoothie

Carrots are low in calories but high in nutrients, packed with essential vitamins and minerals. The beta-carotene (provitamin A) found in large amounts in carrots gives them their distinct orange color. In the body, beta-carotene converts into vitamin A, which is crucial for the immune system, helps maintain healthy skin and mucous membranes, and supports vision, particularly in low light. It’s no surprise that vitamin A is often called the “eye vitamin”. When eaten raw, carrots also have a mild diuretic effect.

Ingredients

  • 3 kiwis
  • 1 apple

Preparation

  1. Core the apple, removing the seeds and core.
  2. Peel the kiwi and cut all the fruit into small pieces.
