Stuffed Mushrooms – A Healthy Boost for Prostate Health
Delicious and nutritious – mushrooms, especially champignons, are a great addition to your plate. They are rich in potassium, comparable to bananas, and packed with B vitamins, which support the nervous system. Research by Professor Robert B. Beelmann from Pennsylvania State University suggests that champignons contain the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which helps reduce the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT)—a hormone linked to an increased risk of prostate cancer.
