Rosehips are the false fruits of the rose family. The actual fruit is the seed inside the red outer shell. Rosehips are rich in vitamin C and also contain malic acid, citric acid, pectin, carotenoids, polyphenols, and flavonoids. The most important ingredient, which also benefits the bladder, is vitamin C.
Ingredients
500 g fresh rosehips
500 ml water
A little honey
Preparation
Soak fresh rosehips overnight.
Simmer them gently for 20 minutes in the soaking water.
