Onion Syrup

When it comes to treating colds, nothing beats homemade onion syrup.


Ingredients

  • 5 large red onions

  • 8 tablespoons of good, crystallized honey


Preparation

  1. Peel the onions and slice them.

  2. Add the honey and stir occasionally, allowing the mixture to sit for 20 to 24 hours.

  3. Pour the resulting syrup into well-cleaned bottles and store in the fridge.


Shelf Life

  • Can be kept for months.


Application

  • In case of illness, take one tablespoon three times daily or up to hourly as needed.

It is effective for bronchial illnesses, such as bronchitis, coughing, and excessive mucus. It helps with painful coughing and difficulty clearing mucus.

For men: Regular consumption of onion syrup may also strengthen potency.
