Horseradish: Natural Penicillin
Horseradish, also known as Kren, is often called “plant-based penicillin” due to its anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties. It helps combat cold viruses, prevent infections, and contains Vitamin C, B1, and a high amount of calcium.
Thanks to its antibiotic effects, horseradish can also help with mild bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract (such as sinus infections and throat inflammations) and lower urinary tract infections, like bladder infections. The best results are achieved when taken at the first signs of illness. Regular consumption can even help prevent recurrent infections.
