Flourless Protein Rolls (Low-Carb Bread)
If you want to skip flour and treat yourself to something healthy, these protein rolls are the perfect choice. They are nutritious, long-lasting, quick to make, and absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
- 100 g tigernut flour
- 100 g flaxseeds
- 100 g chia seeds
- 300 g quark, plain yogurt, or plain soy yogurt
- 150 g walnuts (halved or chopped)
- 5 tbsp psyllium husks
- 5–6 eggs (For an egg substitute: soak 1 tbsp chia seeds in 5 tbsp water to replace 1 egg)
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients and let them sit for 15–30 minutes to swell.
- Shape into rolls.
- Bake in a preheated oven (175°C, top/bottom heat) for 30 minutes.
